Set-up costs: The Teams Essentials, Advanced, and Professional plans have no set-up costs. The Teams BYOC plan may have set-up costs depending on the SIP carrier. The SIP trunk may need to be templated and validated if not already available in the Callroute carrier library. Please get in touch with us for more details.

Regional Availability: The Teams Phone Professional plan is available where the United Kingdom is the primary country of service. Additional countries may be supported, subject to compliance with local regulatory requirements. Pricing outside the UK may differ from the prices stated.

Customising your bundle: The Teams Phone Professional plan includes one DDI (phone number) and 300 pooled minutes per user. If you would like to adjust the number of DDIs (reduce or increase) or the amount of inclusive minutes, please contact us for a custom quote.

Frequently Asked Questions

You can monitor monthly calling costs in the reporting section of the Callroute portal. Any calls made that are outside of bundles (e.g. international) will be billed at month end in arrears.
Any unused minutes at the end of the calendar month are not carried over to the following month. On the first of each month, your minute balance is reset.
Calls will continue to work as normal. We operate a fair use policy: if your usage occasionally exceeds the monthly inclusive minutes and the overuse is minimal, you will not incur additional charges. However, if exceeding the limit becomes a consistent trend, you will be required to either upgrade to a larger inclusive minute pool or pay for the excess usage
No. It is your responsibility to monitor usage using the Callroute portal real-time reporting. However, in cases of fraud, Callroute has fraud prevention systems that monitor unusual calling activity to detect malicious use.
Yes. Calls are charged per the applicable rate card monthly in arrears.
Yes, however, note this is a feature of the PBX or cloud calling service, such as Teams Phone (i.e. not Callroute). Please refer to your phone system admin section (for example, Teams admin centre)
Yes, where telco regulation allows, we can provide international numbering. Alternatively, you can connect your existing SIP provider to Callroute.

We measure active users differently depending on the phone system you are connecting to Callroute. The total user count can the the combination of the following:

Microsoft Teams
An active user in Microsoft Teams is a user or resource account that has been licensed for Microsoft Phone and is using Callroute for making and/or receiving calls (the count is shown in the green chip in the Microsoft Teams service – Callroute PSTN users).

Webex Calling
An active user in Webex calling is based on per DDI assignment to the Webex Calling service.

SIP Phone
Each registered SIP Phone is classed as an active user.

Call Forward
A number set to forward to another number.

Floating minutes bundles can be shared across all services. Each bundle is valid for 1 month and resets on the 1st of every month. Bundles include calls to UK fixed lines and mobiles.

  • 300 mins: £9 (3 pence per min)
  • 1000 mins: £25 (2.5 pence per min)
  • 2500 mins: £56 (2.25 pence per min)
  • 5000 mins: £100 (2 pence per min)
  • 10000 mins: £150 (1.5 pence per min)
  • 20000 mins £250 (1.25 pence per min)

If you are on a pay-as-you-go plan, calls are charged at 1p per minute to UK fixed lines and 5p per minute to mobiles. This means that if you make frequent mobile calls, bundles can offer better value.
